Priced by register.
We price differently to most software. Here's the thinking behind it.

Overview
circlr prices on the size of your asset register. Not per-asset, not per-user, not per-transaction. As your register grows, more of your stack depends on it: audit, tax, insurance, depreciation, servicing, monitoring, end-of-life recycling, environmental reporting.

Gross Asset Value = total cost of active assets in your register. Your band is locked annually so day-to-day changes don't affect your bill. Prices exclude VAT.
Everyone starts on Free. As you assign transactions, your gross asset value builds live inside circlr and shows you the band you fit, before any bill kicks in.
How it works.
Answers to the questions we hear most.
What if I'm not sure which band I'll be on? +
Everyone starts on the Free plan. As you assign transactions to assets, your gross asset value (GAV) builds up live inside circlr so you'll see exactly which band you fit before you upgrade.
You only ever move bands when you choose to. Nothing auto-upgrades and nothing auto-charges.
Why do you price on asset value instead of per asset? +
Per-asset pricing punishes you for being thorough. You either stop adding assets, which breaks your register, or delete old ones to keep your bill down. Neither is good for you or for us.
Banded pricing means you can add as many assets as you like without your bill moving. It only changes when your register fundamentally outgrows its band, which is rare and meaningful. You grow; your software gets out of the way.
What counts as Gross Asset Value (GAV)? +
GAV is the total original cost of the active assets in your register: what you paid for them, before depreciation. It's a number you already maintain for your accounts, your insurance schedule, and your tax return.
We use gross cost rather than depreciated (net book) value deliberately, so your bill doesn't drift around as assets depreciate. A £4m register stays a £4m register until you actually dispose of something.
What happens if my register grows mid-year? +
Nothing immediate. Your band is locked for your 12-month cycle, so a new purchase, even a large one, won't change your bill mid-year.
If you cross into a new band, we'll let you know with a friendly note and give you 60 days. We never auto-charge you for crossing a threshold. Any change happens at your renewal, on your terms.
What if my asset values fluctuate? +
Bands are wide. Each is roughly ten times the one below it. Normal trading won't move you between bands; only a genuine, sustained change in the size of your register will.
And because your band is locked annually, month-to-month movements never affect what you pay.
Why doesn't my bill go down as my assets depreciate? +
Because the work of managing them doesn't. A laptop you bought three years ago still needs tracking, security monitoring, disposal handling, and audit support as one you bought yesterday.
Pricing on gross register size means your plan reflects the size of what you're managing, not its accounting value. This is also how insurance, audit, and the rest of the financial stack around your assets already works.
Can I change plans? +
Yes. Upgrades take effect immediately and are pro-rated. You only pay for the part of the cycle you use the higher plan. Downgrades take effect at your next renewal.
You can see your live register value inside circlr at any time, so you always know exactly where you stand.
Is my asset data private? +
Yes. Your register and its values live in your account. They are never pooled, sold, or used outside your subscription.
The value figure we use for your band is the same one you already share with your accountant, auditor, insurer, and HMRC. Nothing new leaves your business.
What's included in the Large plan? +
Large is our top tier for registers above £25m and businesses that need more than self-serve: Private hosting, a dedicated contact, an SLA, guided onboarding, and custom features.
Pricing is bespoke and reflects the size and complexity of your register. Get in touch and we'll build a plan around your business.
